Where: Via Zoom

Event by Researchers Anonymous: https://researchersanonymous.weebly.com/

By now hopefully you have read Traci Bliss’s insightful and inspiring book, Evergreen Cemetery of Santa Cruz (Arcadia History Press, 2020) and maybe heard one of her talks highlighting some of the visionary and resilient stories emanating from those buried. If not, go to tracibliss.com to get a feel for what you’ll find in this vital contribution to early Santa Cruz history.

At our November 2020 Researchers meeting we will get the inside story of the joys and challenges of her research methodology, the key role Randall Brown played and how she handled the publisher’s many delays and unexpected requests during Covid-19. Also, Traci will relate some of the post-production reactions and discoveries her book elicited and share how the entire experience reinforces her commitment to being nimble! Are you eager to learn tips for your own local history writing? Please come with any and all  questions which Traci will answer as they come up during the talk. This promises to be a lively and engaging discussion! Spread the word.

Traci Bliss, an award winning emerita professor of education, is the author of several books including Santa Cruz’s Seabright with Randall Brown.

Lisa Robinson is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
